Our President and cofounder, Jack Vincent, is certified by the Community Development Council, Inc. as a Professional Community and Economic Developer. He has over thirty-five year's experience in various professional and technical positions, managing such diverse functions as Community Development, Customer Services, and Safety & Technical Skills Training. Mr. Vincent's Community Development and Economic Development experience includes: conducting community economic development assessments; facilitating community strategic planning; creating marketing material for communities and regions; facilitating brownfields identification and redevelopment, developing community and regional Websites; creating and implementing targeted marketing programs; conducting national and international business recruitment; and developing an delivering leadership training. He has led consulting interventions for numerous small businesses and performed economic development work in Arkansas, Illinois, Louisiana, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas and Ukrainian communities.

In 2004, he authored a retirement development handbook for the State of Louisiana's Retirement Development Commission to assist communities in attracting retirees as an economic development target. He authored two chapters (Principles of Community Development and Community Development Assessment) for the Community Development Council's new Community Development Handbook published in 2006. In October 2004, Mr. Vincent began an 18-month economic development project in the Ukraine for the US Agency for International Development to develop strategic plans for cities and provide training for Ukrainian economic development consultants. Prior to that he was engaged as a facilitator in Phillips County Arkansas to help organize the community and create an economic development plan. As of May 2006, Phillips County organizations have received over $2 million to help implement components of the plan.

Mr. Vincent received his B.A. degree (Government) from Southeastern Louisiana University, and a Master's degree in Education (Adult Learning and Development) from the University of New Orleans. He continued his education at the University of New Orleans completing all work on his doctoral degree except for his dissertation. His advanced studies involve the transfer of training into performance using specific and timely feedback. In addition to his contributions to the community development handbook, Mr. Vincent has published several articles in national periodicals and authored numerous monographs.

Mr. Vincent is currently an owner and member of the boards directors of American Defense Services, Inc. (a homeland security company founded in 2003), and Safety Alert Network, Inc. (a transportation safety company founded in 1992).

JoAnn G. Vincent,CEO of Performance Development Plus, is an experienced educator and activist. She holds a Bachelors of Education Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University where she graduated magna cum laude. A public school teacher with twenty-four years experience, Ms. Vincent has received numerous grants and awards including an Excellence in Education award from The Chamber/New Orleans and The River Region. She was also one of seventy-five women receiving Spirit of Betty Crocker Awards from General Mills, Inc. for the 75th Anniversary of Betty Crocker. In 1998, Ms. Vincent was selected to participate in a videotape production that will be used by Louisiana to train and recruit new teachers. She has also published articles in national magazines describing community service projects implemented by her public school students.

James A. Chandler, Sr., Senior Service Consultant, has over thirty-years business experience including management of a customer service group in a Fortune 500 company. Mr. Chandler is also an accomplished Web Master and our primary Web Page Designer. He has delivered customer service training to thousands of front-line service and service support employees in a variety of organizations including utilities and the military. Mr. Chandler works with PDP clients to help management and customer contact personnel clarify their service standards and to learn new skills that will improve customer service and support return business.
